Abstract:Transition metal‐catalyzed direct CH activation has been developed as a powerful strategy for the rapid construction of molecular complexity. The ubiquity and strength of CH bonds present major challenges toward the realization of CH transformations: selectivity and efficiency. The directing groups (DGs) resolved the regioselectivity and improved the catalytic activity of metal. However, they always left a chemical trace in the products, which limited the structural diversity. Hence, the development of mult… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
