Abstract:Hydrogel thin films are promising form factors for biomedical applications, wearable electronics, and energy technologies owing to their biocompatibility, skin conformality, and tunable physiochemical properties. Covalently cross-linked hydrogels and their films are typically prepared via the free-radical polymerization of vinyl monomers, which requires additional time and apparatus to remove oxygen and retain oxygen-free conditions. In this study, an oxygen-tolerant photoinduced electron/energy transfer-rever… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
