Abstract:Unilateral inner ear injury is followed by behavioral recovery due to central vestibular compensation. The therapeutic effect of oxytocin (OT) on vestibular compensation was investigated by behavioral testing in a rat model of unilateral vestibular neurectomy (UVN).
