P‐165: Effect of Polarized Light Polymerization on Reflection Band Tunability in Polymer‐Stabilized Bimesogenic Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Devices

Abstract: This work demonstrates approach for improvement of electrooptic performance and light reflectance properties of electricallycontrolled reflective heliconical cholesteric liquid crystal (CLCOH) textures. A noticeable increase of the electric field range which supports the CLCOH texture is demonstrated by using photo polymerization with polarized UV light.
