P‐29: Color Sequential Image Capturing

Abstract

A full color image is restored by using a monochrome camera and color sequential object illumination with LEDs. Advantages with respect to color flexibility, spatial resolution, sensitivity and consequences of the system are presented. A camera system and a lighting control unit are demonstrated and discussed in detail.
