P‐52: Evaluation of LCD Optical Performances with Motion Blur Reduction and Color Improvement Technologies

Abstract

Motion blur and color improvement technologies are applied to three popular LC modes, twisted nematic, fringe field switching, and multi-domain vertical aligned. FFS panel demonstrates the best overall performance. A new metric for avoiding flicker or comparing flicker performance between different panels is proposed.
