Abstract:The film morphology of screen-printed carbon nanotube emitters was modified by using the liquid phase method, which used ethanol. This liquid treatment modified the surface morphology of the cathode because the organic binder is soluble in ethanol and it removed organic binder from the film. The field emission image uniformity and emission current density were improved without a heat treatment. This technique has showed that the ethanol treatment without the heat treatment provided an ease way to enhanced fiel… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
