Abstract: Background and Aims Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is a multisystemic disease characterized by the progressive development of bilateral renal cysts, resulting in enlargement of the kidney volume due to cystic formations, hypertension, haematuria, and loss of renal function.
