Abstract: Diastrophic dysplasia (DTD) is characterized by limb shortening, spinal deformities, joint contractures, normal-sized skull and typical hitchhiker thumbs. It is autosomally recessive disease can be prenatally diagnosed by ultrasound and confirmed by molecular genetic testing.
