Wireless sensor networks provide numerous applications today. At the same time modern wireless short-range communication technologies combined with mobile users create environments for mobile peerto-peer networks. This paper discusses a concept of an application in which an MP2P network is used for collecting sensor network data. This model requires certain places with a high mobile user density in order to function. Simulation results indicate that the model can be used in environments where these requirements are met.

We can envision that future sensor networks (WSNs) are ubiquitous, large-scale, interconnected, which we call worldwide sensor network (WWSN). Currently, most of the WSNs are working as isolated islands. Without sharing sensor data across different domains, the most important features of ubiquitous computing (e.g. context awareness) will not be easily achieved. For sharing among WWSN, the first nut to crack is to interconnect different WSNs which are spatially deployed in different locations with IP based Internet; the second one is to integrate them into a single WWSN over the Internet for publishing, sharing and searching of sensor data. In this paper, we present the challenge issues that should be addressed for sharing WWSN, by conducting a short survey on existing approaches.

SUMMARYWith the advance of network technology peer-to-peer (P2P) has become a new network application model for state-of-the-art-distributed computing bringing about a lot of research. Message transmission is the most important fundamental operation in the accomplishing of scalable and reliable service in P2P networks. In this paper, different message transmission strategies aimed at reducing the amount of querying and thus increasing resource utilization are presented. The advantages of these techniques are that they are simple, have low complexity and are easy to implement. The experimental results show that the proposed methods were successful in reducing network traffic under different unstructured P2P overlay networks. The detailed analysis points out the properties and also suggests an improved message transmission mechanism for different P2P environments.
