The higher amplitude of the P3 for invalidly cued trials appears to signal a mismatch between sensory perception and sensory-motor preparation (Digiacomo, Marco-Pallarés, Flores, & Gómez, 2008;Gómez, Flores, Digiacomo, Ledesma, & González-Rosa, 2008).
