Abstract: Photo-theranostics is a therapeutic and diagnostic approach that uses photosensibilization. This approach makes part of the medicine of the future – subcellular therapy. Photo-theranostics targets cells and tissues that are affected by pathological changes inducing apoptotic cell death.
