Abstract:Background:Background: The majority of chemotherapeutic agents are dosed according to a body weight derived variable. Studies in solid cancers have shown that overweight patients frequently receive dose reduction (DR) of chemotherapy, despite no evidence corroborates increased toxicity of full dosing.
