Abstract: Objectives Painful accessary navicular syndrome is treated by various surgical methods after failed conservative treatment. The reason for the persisting pain, in all the surgically intervened cases, was degeneration of tibialis posterior tendon due to the need for dissecting the tendon in all the operative techniques described till date.
