Abstract:The Zonguldak coal basin is the area with the most important hard coal reserves in Turkey. This study focuses on coal samples extracted from three seams of the Kozlu Formation, specifically from the Kozlu underground mine, to assess the coals’ organic geochemical and petrographic properties.
