Palliative Resection of Colorectal Cancer: Does It Prolong Survival?

Abstract: Palliative resection of primary CRC should be pursued in patients with unresectable distant metastasis (without carcinomatosis), and, intraoperatively, whenever the primary tumor is technically resectable.
