Palynostratigraphy of sub-surface Lower Gondwana, Pali sediments, Sohagpur Coalfield, M.P., India

Abstract: Two palynoassemblages have been identified in B.H. SKM 6, from Mithauri-Kelmania Sector of Sohagpur Coalfield, M.P. The Palynoassemblage I (254.00-163.40 m), of Late Early Permian age reveals the dominance of Scheuringipollenites and Faunipollenites in association with Barakarites, Parasaccites, Ibisporites, Rhizomaspora, Potonieisporites, Arcuatipollenites, Tiwariasporis and Brevitriletes.
