Abstract:A photopolymerizable nanoparticle-polymer composite (NPC) is a novel nanocomposite photopolymer that is dispersed with inorganic nanoparticles having a large refractive-index difference from that of the formed polymer. In order to realize the uniform and high dispersion of nanoparticles without any aggregation, we employ nanostructured polymers that possess highly branched main chains, the so-called hyperbranched polymer (HBP), as size and refractive-index controllable organic nanoparticles with its ultrahigh … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
