Panorama Imaging System Using Hyperbolic Cylinder Reflector and Image Reconstruction Algorithm for Automative AVM System

Abstract

Around-View Monitoering (AVM) system that displays images around the vehicle in real time in order to assist driver's safe driving is being studied. In order to acquire images around the vehicle, a method of stitching images obtained from a plurality of cameras is generally used. When multiple cameras are used, the load on the hardware and software side increases. In this paper, we propose an imaging system that can obtain a wide angle of view using a single camera to compensate for these drawbacks.
