Abstract:Thyroglossal duct cysts are most commonly occurring congentinal midline swellling of the neck. Usually carcinomas in thyroglossal duct cysts is extremely rare, commonly known as papillary carcinomas. However, the diagnosis is only made postoperatively after excision of the cyst.
