Abstract:We report a 16-year-old adolescent girl with Down syndrome who developed a slowly progressive papulonodular eruption in the inguinal area. Skin biopsy for histopathology showed foci of bony trabeculae with osteoblasts and calcium deposition in the deeper dermis. An association of such lesions with Down syndrome, and the site of involvement, has not been reported previously.
