Abstract: Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and ibuprofen are commonly used to relieve fever and pain in children. Their effects are similar, but differ in strength and mechanisms of action on the body. Acetaminophen, a para-aminophenol derivative, has antipyretic and analgesic properties.
