Paradigmas De La Metodología Cuantitativa Desde El Enfoque De La Ingeniería

Abstract

Research methodology is an essential element in all academic projects because it allows obtaining reliable and accurate data, which are necessary to make inferences and draw conclusions about the object of study. In the area of engineering, a quantitative methodology is usually used, since it is necessary to analyze numerous data; therefore, it is important that students develop their research skills so that they can carry out a correct study, always with the support of the teacher. This book is structured in five chapters: four theoretical and one research chapter. Regarding the research itself, included in chapter 4, the objective is to identify the competencies of students regarding the development of research work in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at UNFV, period 2023 and 2024. From this, it was concluded that students have greater difficulty in developing the methodology and performing the analysis and interpretation of the results.
