Paraelectric-Incommensurate Phase Transition in Rb2ZnCl4Studied by EPR of Mn2+Probe

Abstract: The EPR spectra of Mn 2+ probe have been investigated in Rb 2 ZnCl 4 (RZC) crystals. Temperature changes of EPR line position and local line width in the range of paraelectricincommensurate phase transition have been described on the basis of the simple "local" model. EPR data confirm non-classical character of RZC critical properties, corresponding to universality class of 3d XY Heizenberg model.
