Parameterized splitting theorems and bifurcations for potential operators, Part I: Abstract theory
Guangcun Lu
Abstract:This is the first part of a series devoting to the generalizations and applications of common theorems in variational bifurcation theory. Using parameterized versions of splitting theorems in Morse theory we generalize some famous bifurcation theorems for potential operators by weakening standard assumptions on the differentiability of the involved functionals, which opens up a way of bifurcation studies for quasi-linear elliptic boundary value problems.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
