Abstract:Progressive encephalomyelitis with rigidity and myoclonus (PERM) is a rare but debilitating disease within the stiff person syndrome (SPS) spectrum characterised by muscle rigidity, spasms, myoclonus, dysautonomia, and brainstem dysfunction.
