Abstract:This study explores the intricate dynamics of parental neglect, emotional regulation, and psychological adjustment among queer and straight young adults in India. Using a sample of 108 participants, including 56 from the queer (LGBTQ) group and 52 from the heterosexual (straight) group. Statistical analyses of Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient and Independent Samples T-Test were conducted to test hypotheses.
