Abstract:This study aimed to address a research gap concerning the influence of parental literacy background on their involvement in their children's basic education. The research was conducted in the lower Bagdogra gram Panchayat of Naxalbari block in Darjeeling district. Data was collected from 80 female respondents, comprising both literate and illiterate individuals.
