Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Samarinda dalam mempromosikan destinasi wisata Rumah Ulin Arya dan mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Samarinda dalam mempromosikan destinasi Rumah Ulin Arya. Ulin Arya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menghasilkan data dari informan kunci, informan dan wisatawan. Fokus penelitian menggunakan teori pitana dan gayatri yaitu motivator, fasilitator, dinamisator. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peran dinas sebagai motivator peran dinas sebagai motivator dinilai masih belum maksimal karena adanya wabah Covid-19 yang menyebabkan tertundanya kegiatan yang telah direncanakan oleh dinas. Untuk memajukan tempat wisata di Samarinda termasuk Destinasi Wisata Rumah Ulin Arya diperlukan kerjasama dari pihak pengelola dan juga dari pemerintah terkait yaitu Dinas Pariwisata Kota Samarinda

Tourism and entrepreneurship are related to strengthening the country's economy, income and community welfare. The growth of business actors in the tourism sector needs to continue to be improved in terms of quality and quantity. So various programs have been carried out by the government related to the implementation of programs to increase entrepreneurial abilities. Using a qualitative design, this research was conducted to examine the implementation of an entrepreneurial capacity building program in Manado City. Research findings show that the "human error" factor in business management and less innovative product quality are problems currently being faced. The Manado City Government, through Regional Work Units and in collaboration with the Central Government and the Private Sector, has implemented a program to increase entrepreneurial capacity in the form of socialization, training, mentoring, protection and provision of facilities. There has been an increase in the quantity of business actors but not yet in the quality of business management. Therefore, there needs to be good synergy between the government and business actors in supporting the tourism sector through entrepreneurial activities.

This paper discusses optimizing the development of ecotourism based on local wisdom on Gili Iyang Island, Sumenep. Methodologically, the type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques of literature study (reading books, journals, magazines, newspapers, documents, and other media information that has to do with being researched). In addition, researchers also conducted observations and interviews. The results show that tourism potential has not been utilized as an opportunity to improve the welfare of the community. All aspects are still in the medium and low categories, so it can be said that they are not optimal. Therefore, environmental conservation is very important so that tourism objects on Gili Iyang can develop. In this case, the concept of tourism that is in line with the role of environmental conservation is ecotourism.
