Abstract:In a case of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, type B, the electrocardiogram displayed the same broad QRS configuration during an episode of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation as during normal sinus rhythm, suggesting conduction via an accessory atrioventricular connection. The incidence of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter in type B of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome may not be as rare as it was once thought to be.
