Abstract: DNA-protein crosslinks (DPCs) are toxic lesions that inhibit DNA related processes. Post-translational modifications (PTMs), including SUMOylation and ubiquitylation, play a central role in DPC resolution, but whether other PTMs are also involved remains elusive.
