Parsonage Turner syndrome caused byStaphylococcus aureusspondylodiscitis

Abstract: Parsonage Turner syndrome (otherwise known as PTS, neuralgic amyotrophy or acute brachial neuritis) is a rare, but clinically significant cause of atraumatic shoulder girdle pain and weakness. Diagnosis is primarily clinical and can be challenging due to its heterogeneous presentation. A case of PTS following systemic infection from Staphylococcus aureus spondylodiscitis is presented.
