Part 1. Formative assessment in review

Abstract: Τhis part presents the main characteristics of Formative Assessment (FA) with an emphasis on Language Learning (LL). It also exhibits the features of a Systematic Review (SR) and an Annotated Bibliography (AB) selected for the needs of this book. The aim is to set the background for the SR and AB on FA in LL, which is the focus of this book.
