Participation in protected areas: a social network case study in Catalonia, Spain

Abstract: ABSTRACT. Local participation of stakeholders in governance of protected areas is considered to be important to natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. Calvet-Mir et al (2015) analyzed the informal communication network between the stakeholders related to the governance of a natural park in Spain.
