Particle difference method for hydrogen permeation through tubular membranes

Abstract: This paper presents a particle difference method (PDM) for simulating stress effects on hydrogen permeation through tubular membranes. The PDM directly discretizes the strong form of the equations governing the coupling between hydrogen diffusion and deformation in elastic solids under small strain.
