Particle Swarm Optimization Tuning of Modular Multilevel Converters in a Time-Invariant Framework

Abstract: This work investigates the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm as a tool to tune the control parameters of a Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) in a single-terminal HVdc configuration.
