Partonic quasidistributions in two-dimensional QCD

Abstract: As a sequel of our preceding work [1], we carry out a comprehensive comparative study between the quasi parton distribution functions (PDFs), distribution amplitudes (DAs) and their light-cone counterparts for various flavor-neutral mesons, in the context of the 't Hooft model, that is, the two-dimensional QCD in the large N limit. In contrast to the original derivation via diagrammatic techniques exemplified by Dyson-Schwinger and Bethe-Salpeter equations, here we employ the Hamiltonian operator approach to r… Show more

“…[38,56,[61][62][63][64][65][66][67]. The new formulation and its successful implementation within lattice QCD has also led to a wider interest on phenomenological studies using models and toy theories of QCD [57,58,[68][69][70][71][72][73][74][75]. A detailed overview of the current status of lattice QCD calculation of PDFs and other partonic distributions can be found in the recent reviews of Refs.…”

“…Following the NRQCD investigation, Y. Jia and X. Xiong continued their work related to model quasidistributions of mesons. In 2018, together with S. Liang and R. Yu [130], they presented results on meson quasi-PDFs and quasi-DAs in two-dimensional QCD in its large-N c limit, often referred to as the 't Hooft model [131]. The Authors used the Hamiltonian operator approach and Bars-Green equations in equal-time quantization [132], instead of the more standard diagrammatic approach in light-cone quantization.…”

“…To compute hadronic matrix elements involving these operators, rather than utilize the diagrammatic Bethe-Salpeter approach [5], it turns much more transparent to invoke the operator method, that is, the bosonization technique equipped with Bogoliubov transformation [6]. In fact, these techniques have recently been applied to systematically investigate the partonic quasi distributions in 't Hooft model [9]. Following the steps expounded in [6,9], and going through some tedious but straightforward algebras, we end up with the following expectation values when sandwiched between the n-th mesonic state:…”
