Pasero Opioid-Induced Sedation Scale in a Pediatric Surgical Ward: A Quality Improvement Project

Abstract: Pediatric patients are at risk for adverse events associated with opioid medication. Sedation scales enable nurses to reach knowledgeable decisions maximizing patient safety during opioid administration.
