Rural revitalization is an indispensable part of sustainable economic development in China. This paper proposes a new index to capture and assess rural revitalization (RR) in terms of five dimensions, namely, thriving businesses, pleasant living environments, social etiquette and civility, effective governance, and prosperity. Using spatial and cluster analyses on annual data of 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China from 2010 to 2020, we find that: (1) China’s RR is growing year by year during the sample period, yet the overall level of RR is still low, with a national average of merely 0.47 in 2020, and that of the top province Jiangsu only 0.64; (2) The spatial distribution of RR in eastern provinces show high and high (HH) agglomeration, while that in northeastern and western provinces exhibit low and low (LL) agglomeration; and (3) The development level of RR is highly heterogeneous, suggesting that development disparities exist, and deserve the government’s attention. The study suggests some strategies for improving RR in China. In particular, the study sheds light on how to promote RR effectively for local governments to achieve sustainable economic development.

As the largest developing country, China has made significant achievements in the battle against poverty in a short period. The key point lies in the targeted rural poverty alleviation policies with Chinese characteristics, for which educational poverty alleviation is the fundamental guarantee. Educational poverty alleviation in rural povertystricken areas is mainly to improve the total amount and quality of rural human resources with the adoption of various education-based human resource development models. The development of rural human resources is conducive to increase the income of rural poverty families and then achieve sustained poverty elimination. In this study, we argue that preschool education could promote economic growth in rural poverty-stricken areas through internal and spillover effects based on human resource development. Internal effect is mainly manifested in its direct effect on improving the quality of human resources, for example, to block the inter-generational transmission of poverty by cultivating high-quality laborers in the future. While, the spillover effect is mainly reflected in the increase in the total amount of human resources, such as transforming the original child caregivers (female and elderly) into productive laborers. Additionally, the teacher training model for preschool education in rural areas could also promote rural human resources development by enabling plenty of surplus laborers to participate in preschool education. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to analyze the effects of preschool education on achieving sustained poverty elimination in the post-poverty era from a new perspective of human resources development with the combination of the seventh population census bulletin and the three-child policy recently released in China. Our findings could provide references for other developing countries that are committed to poverty alleviation, and also are conducive to accelerate the process of establishing inclusive preschool childcare and education service system in China to achieve sustainable rural development.

At this stage, the research hotspots on wireless multimedia sensor networks mainly include MAC protocol, network security, and node positioning. Research on resource allocation is scarce. Due to the lack of an effective wireless resource allocation strategy, even the most advanced transmission technology will not be able to fully utilize its unique advantages due to unreasonable resource allocation. Therefore, in-depth research on wireless resource allocation strategies is of great significance for the better application of wireless transmission technology. The entire network uses OFDMA mechanism to divide time slots. According to this method, resource allocation can be divided into intercluster and intracluster, and then the Max-Min subcarrier allocation algorithm is innovated and perfected to ensure maximum information transmission speed and throughput and promote information data efficient transmission. Based on the research of wireless sensor system resource allocation technology, China has emphasized industrial prosperity as the key point in its rural revitalization strategy, and doing a good job in technological innovation and industrial innovation is of great significance to economic development. At this stage, the capacity of rural industrial economic development is poor, and the economic level of most rural areas is not high. This situation is inseparable from problems such as limited industrial development and insufficient technological innovation capabilities. In order to promote the prosperity of rural industries and achieve the goal of rural revitalization, we must proceed from the fundamentals and give priority to solving the outstanding problems encountered in the process of rural industrial revitalization. Promoting the revitalization of rural industries can effectively solve the current plight of agricultural development and is an inherent requirement for rural prosperity and the country's prosperity. Aiming at the problems in the process of restricting the revitalization of rural industries, this article adheres to the principle of integrating theory with practice and puts forward practical and feasible measures to solve the problem in a targeted manner.
