Patient Abuse in Healthcare: A Theoretical Synthesis

Abstract: Patient abuse in healthcare is an emerging phenomenon in need of explanation and further analysis. Preventing abusive incidents in healthcare requires identifying structural imbalances that make mistreatment of vulnerable individuals possible.
