Abstract: Introduction: Gastric/gastro-oesopageal junctional adenocarcinoma/ (GC/GOJ CA) is the fourth commonly diagnosed cancer and the second commonest cancer related cause of death worldwide. Curative therapy for GC involves surgical resection with an accompanying lymphadenectomy.
