“…A method named direct ink writing (DIW) was designed by Huang, Peng, Feng, and their co‐workers to construct the functional gels based on poly(penta fluorophenyl) acrylate (pPFPA) using alkylamines as the ink and a capillary as the pen, thereby accomplishing multi‐functional patterns on gels by a concise and effective means. [ 136 ] Due to the aminolysis reaction between pPFPA and alkylamine, various functional groups can be incorporated into the gel network via DIW using the alkylamine derivatives with expected functional groups as the inks, thereby endowing the resultant gels with numerous appealing properties. Three inks consisting of 1,3‐propyldiamine functionalized rhodamine B (RA), Dansyl Hydrazine (DH), and 3‐bromo propylamine functionalized coumarin (CA), respectively, were utilized to construct the responsive fluorescent blocks with corresponding red, cyan, and blue emissions ( Figure a).…”
