Abstract:Background:Background: Chronic myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML) is a clonal stem cell disorder characterized by the presence of sustained (>3 months) peripheral blood monocytosis (≥1 x 10 9 /L; monocytes ≥10% of white blood cell count) along with dysplastic features in the blood/bone marrow. The pathophysiology of CMML is very complex and heterogenous demonstrating overlapping features of myelodysplasia and proliferation.
