Abstract:Background: First-line treatment of HER2−negative LR/MBC with paclitaxel (T) and bevacizumab (A) has demonstrated improved progression-free survival (PFS) and overall response rate (ORR) when compared with T alone (E2100). We determined whether addition of capecitabine (X) to AT is safe and would be better effective than AT in women with HER2−negative LR/MBC.
