Abstract: Human programmed cell death 4 (PDCD4) has been reported to participate in multiple neurological diseases. However, the role of PDCD4 in epilepsy, as well as its underlying mechanism, remains unclear. To induce excitotoxicity, 100 µM kainic acid (KA) was applied for the stimulation of HT22 cells for 12 h.
