One of the areas of research conducted at the Institute of Applied Problems of Physics (IAPP) is the study of the influence of different media on the radiation processes generated by relativistic charged particles (channeling radiation, transition radiation, Cherenkov radiation, diffraction radiation, etc.). Additionally, many interesting phenomena arise when acoustic fields are excited in media. This is exactly the field of study of acoustophysics. The paper is devoted to the review of studies conducted in Lab. 3 of IAPP in these areas.
