Abstract: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a gradually advancing neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a concealed onset. Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) is an efficient hydrolase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of acetylcholine (ACh), which regulates the concentration of ACh at synapses and then terminates ACh-mediated neurotransmission.
