Abstract:Pediatric acute compartment syndrome (PACS) is a rare but potentially limb threatening entity. The prompt recognition and emergent treatment of developing compartment syndrome is imperative to prevent lifelong disability. The anxiety and age of the pediatric population make it difficult to accurately diagnose PACS. This article seeks to provide an overview on how to appropriately diagnose and treat PACS providing various tips and tricks.
