Abstract: Introduction: Brainstem gliomas (BSGs) occur in the brainstem, located at the base of the brain. BSGs account for 10-20% of all primary CNS tumors. In a hospital-based study conducted at NICRH, BSGs constituted 7.69% of all childhood brain tumors.
