Pediatric Kaposi's sarcoma associated with immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome

Abstract: Immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) represents paradoxical immune-mediated inflammation in response to an infecting pathogen, occurring after initiation of antiretroviral therapy (ART), concomitantly with immune system recovery.
